Christian Perrin

Paul is the founder of Gritstone – an organisation focused on the growth and empowerment of people and businesses.

Before founding the company, Paul lived and worked in several countries for a wide variety of private and third-sector organisations.

He is a licensed NLP Master Practitioner, a certified DiSC trainer and facilitator, and a licensed Master Trainer for the accredited resilience programs.

His extensive experience in the social care sector resulted in him being selected to deliver the Skills for Care Leadership Programme entitled “Lead to Succeed”. He has and continues to design and deliver innovative projects on behalf of one of the largest UK care providers – Borough Care.

Furthermore, he is retained by the Gibraltar-based Samaritans organisation “GibSams” and is responsible for its volunteer wellbeing training programme and its strategic planning agenda.

He is an accredited Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner and holistic therapist who works with individuals and businesses to overcome challenges.

Christian is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Greenwich and a consultant with Gritstone.

Christian has an extensive and varied background in psychology, spanning forensic, clinical, and organisational fields of teaching and practice.

He has worked in several capacities for the Samaritans in the UK, helping to ensure the continual growth of the charity while protecting the wellbeing of its staff and volunteers. He has also worked in especially challenging environments such as prisons and secure mental health units, always with the aim of empowering staff and residents to work cohesively together by developing an understanding of the core Gritstone organisational principles.

He holds a PhD in psychology, attained from Nottingham Trent University, and several vocational qualifications which relate to therapy, teaching, research, and coaching.

He is passionate about empowering individuals and organisations to be the best they can be, using research-informed methods that achieve meaningful results.
